Katie Leigh is a vibrant speaker for conferences, industry events, churches, elementary and high schools, and universities. Using multimedia and interactive presentations, audiences receive a fresh understanding of cartoons and radio broadcasts. She addresses the current requirements and standards of professionals, and industry trends.

Educational Events

In educational settings, emphasizing literacy and education, Katie shows what animation and commercial scripts look like and demonstrates the process that goes into creating memorable characters. Students have the opportunity to participate in cold readings under the direction of a voiceover professional. She explores the process of creating radio drama and cartoons. She is a must for kids whose reports cards say “good student, but talks too much!”

Religious Events

As the voice of Connie Kendall for the past 25 years in Adventures in Odyssey, Katie is also available to share her journey of intertwining her talents with her faith. Her motivational speaking highlights education along with personal and spiritual growth. Katie incorporates popular entertainment with a realistic view of life as an actor.

“Upbeat, loud and long! That’s how our students responded to the introduction of Katie Leigh at Taylor University. From her transparent chapel address to her incisive classroom instruction, Katie’s time on campus was effective both inside and outside of the classroom. Katie is easy to work with and customized her visit to meet all of our institutional objectives.
Taylor University is grateful to and for Katie Leigh!”

“Katie Leigh was energetic and engaging with my students.  She is highly knowledgeable about the practicalities of voice-over work.  My students learned important and insightful tips about working as a voice artist in today’s marketplace.  I know my students truly appreciated Ms. Leigh’s helpful criticism when working off of copy/sides.  I recommend her as a great contact for anyone that is interested in learning more about the business, craft and artistry of voice acting.”

After 6 days of training, coaching, and sharing, Animation Week at VoiceoverCity has come to an end and I want to take this moment to thank a very special woman for making it a success; Katie Leigh.

With any and every challenge or opportunity presented while putting Animation Week together, Katie stepped up and did whatever was asked of her (and more) to make things work. Just watching the way she worked with talent through the week was amazing as they responded to her guidance and grew right in front of our eyes.

I’m sure anyone that attended a session here at VoiceoverCity during Animation week would agree that she shares from the heart and believes that there is something special in each person she’s working with. She wants you to succeed!

One behalf of myself and everyone here at Voiceovercity, I am posting this open letter saying “Thank You”, Katie for all you did to make our week a success.
